Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Booking info you submit: name, email, phone number, event ZIP, pickup time preference, vehicle-fit acknowledgment, and your signed equipment waiver.
• The contents of any message you send via /contact or email.
• Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number, expiration, and CVC are sent directly from your browser to Stripe — they never touch our servers and we never see them. We store only a Stripe customer ID and a tokenized reference to your card on file (for the $150 damage authorization hold described in our Terms). Stripe's privacy policy applies to all data they handle: stripe.com/privacy.

Email use

We use your email for transactional messages only: booking confirmation, waiver receipt, pickup reminder, weather updates tied to your reservation, the magic-link to your reservation page, return reminder, and damage-hold release notification. We do not send marketing emails, and we do not sell or share your email with anyone.

SMS

We do not send SMS at launch. Your phone number is collected for day-of contact only — we use it to call you if there's a time-sensitive issue with your pickup or rental. If we add SMS later, it will be opt-in.

Cookies

We use essential session cookies to keep your in-progress booking together as you move through the funnel and to keep you signed in to your reservation page after clicking a magic link. That's it. No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no third-party analytics that profile you. If we add analytics later we'll use a privacy-preserving option and update this page.

Third-party sharing

We don't sell your data and we don't share it with marketing networks or data brokers. The only third parties that touch your data are operational vendors strictly necessary to run the booking site: Stripe (payments), our email delivery service (transactional email), and our hosting provider. Each acts as a processor under standard data-processing terms.

Retention & your rights

We keep booking records for as long as needed for tax, accounting, and warranty purposes. You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal retention requirements), by emailing hi@spokaneselfscreen.com.
